Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Outhour Ltd (“Outhour”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales. By creating an account or using Outhour you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Outhour is an AI admin assistant for UK tradespeople. It answers WhatsApp, SMS and (where enabled) phone enquiries on your behalf, qualifies jobs, sends quotes, books work into your calendar, and provides daily summaries. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
Outhour is a tool to assist you. You remain responsible for the work you take on, the quotes you accept, and your communications with customers.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and operating a legitimate trade business in the UK.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Outhour is sold on a monthly subscription. Fees are shown on our pricing page and charged in advance via our payment processor.
- You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your account. There is no minimum term.
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund partial months unless required by law.
- If a payment fails we may suspend or terminate your access after reasonable notice.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the change means you accept the new pricing.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Outhour to send spam, scams, or unlawful, harassing or misleading content.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or sublicense the service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it to build a competing product.
- Upload data you don’t have the right to share, or process data in breach of UK GDPR.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the content and customer data you bring to Outhour. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. AI-generated output
Outhour uses third-party AI models to generate replies and summaries. AI output may occasionally be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing important communications and quotes before relying on them.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance or release updates that briefly affect availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Outhour is not liable for:
- Lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or loss of goodwill.
- Indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages.
- Damages arising from AI output, third-party services, or your customers’ actions.
Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
9. Termination
You can stop using Outhour and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. liability, governing law) will continue.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
